Protection of sensitive electronic components by static discharge demands that good practice is employed. Whilst this is primarily an educational issue, it is essential that the right level of investment in equipmnt is made to promote the right culture and approach. ESD seating must demonstrate a sound electrical continuity path that will survive harsh use.

Electrical continuity is achieved throughout the structure of the assembly, without earth straps which are prone to damage. Both suraces of the seat and back pads are covered in an ESD fabric that contains a continouous carbon filament that will not wear. Non-marking glides are moulded in a conductive polymer ensuring continuity with the conductive elements of antistatic flooring.
